Had a lovely early Saturday evening dinner in the garden overlooking the sea - live music playing added to a fun atmosphere. We had the most delicious food - this is a top kitchen even for the high standards of West Cornwall. Drinks - both from the bar and the wine cellar are excellent- service is friendly and professional. Nothing not to like. Loved it.
Dog friendly too.
We live locally so don’t stay so haven’t rated the rooms.

We had such a great dining experience at this hidden gem in Mousehole. We didn’t stay at the hotel but went for dinner at the restaurant. It was a cold and windy summer evening so we got a table inside. It was still very cosy with nice sea views through big windows.

The food was absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food came out timely  despite the restaurant being full.
There was really nothing to fault from start to finish. A free glass of fizz was also offered to our friend as it was his birthday dinner.

We went outside after dinner and sit by the benches and listened to the sound of the waves. We plan on coming back again at some point to try the seafood shack!

There is parking on site. If it’s full, there’s a big paid parking just next to the restaurant.

A glorious lunch at the Coastguard. Warm and welcoming staff, excellent beers and outstanding cooking all round. You should go, as soon as you can. If they've still got trout pastrami on the starters, give it a bash.

We had lunch here and it was GREAT! Steak so well-done, sticky toffee pudding very nice, great bread, amazing olives. Very fortunate to have been taken to this place.

If you’re happy with a heavier breakfast, that fish rarebit is amazing. Savoury, not too fishy, a bit of sweetness from the onions. They also have standard full Cornish breakfast with some twists (think it was like a mushroom brown sauce?) and they’re vegetarian friendly. Service from the young blonde man very polite and pleasant! You can eat outside and soak up the views, but definitely on the pricier side - like £16 for a full Cornish.
