Absolutely wonderful birthday meal - we went here for a special occasion and it did not disappoint. The December set menu was lovely, with prompt friendly service and incredible flavours delivered at every course.  The brioche tear and share, Chateaubriand beef and Guinness tart were delicious! We would heartily recommend for a special treat.

Fabulous meal at Artis last night. We went early evening (5pm) and had the set menu which was £38 for three courses.
The food looked exquisite and tasted delicious. Last time I had a meal as good as this at this price/value the place later achieved a Michelin ⭐️I was surprised that there weren’t any veggie/vegan options on the set menu but I guess they might have adjusted for veggie if we had asked.
NB 5.30 onwards would be a good time to go if you are in a car as there is free on street parking for an hour and the restrictions end at 6.30

Went for lunch with super high expectations after reading lots of reviews, and the food absolutely didn’t disappoint. Excellent menu, great presentation and clearly made with lots of delicious local ingredients.

The only slight negative about our experience was that the service was a little lacking. The staff servicing us were lovely, but lots of little details means it didn’t quite add up to the experience we were hoping for.

Will still be back for sure, but hopefully next time the overall experience will match the amazing food.

I just had dinner at Artis and selected their 7-course tasting menu.  All dishes that were served had a nice presentation and tasted great.  I didn't go for the wine pairing option, and instead picked a bottle of wine; even though the wine list is not too extensive, it had a few interesting wines to pick from.
The whole experience lasted about 3 and a half hours.  The waiters were very friendly and knowledgeable about the food being served.

We dined as a couple for a special Anniversary treat on 23rd Nov. We'd been meaning to try out Artis for quite a while and heard great reports. We were not disappointed! We opted for the 7 Course Tasting Menu and booked this in advance online.

Upon arrival we were greeted by a very welcoming, very well presented young lady called Emilie. She introduced herself as our server for the evening which we thought was a lovely personal touch. We were shown our table and everything was explained to us very well.

The setting, decor and furnishings are perfect. Such a lovely environment. We immediately felt this was going to be a special experience.

As the courses arrived we both smiled from ear to ear. Absolutely beautiful presentation & attention to detail. Everything tasted fabulous. Clearly an extremely passionate Chef and a team that care tremendously about what leaves their kitchen. My pictures should do the talking.

On our next visit I imagine we'll pair in the Wine Tasting as the couple beside us opted for this and it seemed to enhance their experience even further with every wine explained in detail as it's poured to match each course.

We can't wait to go back. And Emilie definitely deserves massive praise on her customer service and professionalism throughout, it really didn't go unnoticed. Obviously well trained - she's a credit to the place.
