Christmas Day lunch, ridiculously over priced, small portions, badly cooked food.
One cheese straw per person & glass of Champagne to begin. Starters reasonable but very small. Main course Halibut over cooked & dry served with a side of decent roast potatoes & only one other veg being incinerated fried Brussels sprouts! Truly horrible.

Had a lovely evening  eating lovely bar snacks and sampling the happy hour cocktails.  It was my first visit. I've only lived  locally for 3 years.  Well worth it

I can't comment on the accommodation as I only went here to dine - but, everything about the experience was really good!
From the outside the building is neat, but not dramatic, but from inside the views are outstanding and the place is spotless. There's a very creative menu with excellent flavours, a good bar and lounge, and some of the nicest staff you'll ever encounter.

Never before have a received such terrible childish service in my life.
Sat down the two of us and ordered one plate of fried squid. The waitress who I didn’t get her name brought me 5 plates of fried squid.
I then politely said to her that I think that there is a miscommunication (as she was European) and i ordered fried squid- as it said on the menu. She corrects me that I said 5 squid (when I know I didn’t order 5 plates) then storms off and brings us our bread which she literally threw at the table! Ridiculous childish behaviour.
This member of staff clearly has no people skills and is a total liability to the business. Very weird person.
Overall a terrible experience I am sorry to say.

Note to the owner - when I offered to pay, the staff nonchalantly said, “don’t worry it doesn’t cost us anything” .It’s shocking to hear your staff who you trust a business with seem to hold nor understand any value on your resources or your customers. What a way to literally destroy your business - people should take notes here on what not to do!

Not surprisingly after seeing the other reviews, it’s seems to be the theme here.

Gorgeous lunch with truly delicious food. We shared lots of the starters - standouts were the potted crab & lobster with soda bread & the cod roe's pate with focaccia slices. Then mains were all tasty but not as exciting as starters. To finish the treacle tart was one of the best I have ever tasted. The waiter was great and the gorgeous weather and view made it a perfect long lunch on Saturday. Would recommend to anyone who wants super fresh & local seafood and produce.
