A one of a kind experience in Edinburgh! The Fingal was such an incredible moment for us : the concept is really well thought out, even though we are on a boat we can expect everything from a five stars hotel. The cabin was elegant, modern and very comfortable. But the highlight was probably the restaurant: best cocktails and dinner we’ve had during our trip in Scotland. Special thanks to the staff, they are all very kind and paying attention to every detail. Will definitely come back.

I don't like doing too long winded reviews so I'll try and be brief. My wife and I saw Fingal on YouTube and we instantly knew we wanted to have a night onboard. We were definitely not disappointed. Great staff welcomed us on arrival, so attentive and helpful. The room was fantastic. The bed was great, nice heavy duvet perfect on such a chilly night and a great sleep was had. Everything about the room was spot on. The bar and restaurant was also great, nice place for a dram and cocktail. Breakfast was great as well, full Scottish perfect to start the day. Sorry, I was trying to be brief 🤣 Anyway, I can't recommend Fingal highly enough. Looking forward to going back again!

This hotel is a home away from home! I have stayed here twice now and they never disappoint! The rooms were very spacious and you can feel the luxury especially with their king size beds and amazing veranda overlooking the sea docks! Although I stayed alone twice it was a very romantic experience and all the staff are very friendly and accommodating especially grant and Anthony! I was asking anthony if there’s a massage place nearby that would accommodate me in a very spontaneous time and he was able to help me get one straight away! Their service was phenomenal. When i got back to the hotel from my dinner, the bed was already made for me to be slept on as well as they shut the blinds and just basically prepped everything! I would definitely go back again and again. Thank you for a fantastic experience

A fantastic overnight dinner, bed and breakfast stay as a Christmas treat for my wife and I.  5 star experience from start to finish - staff, service and food all first class.  Our room, even for the basic cabin, was cosy and full of character.  Awesome bed. Lovely dinner, nice ambience in the restaurant, relaxed and made to feel like you were really looked after.  Loved it.
