Coarse was recommended to us by a friend and it did not disappoint ! We visited on a lunchtime and had the full 6 course tasting menu plus the extra monkfish course. The creativity, balance of flavours and presentation of food was superb and we felt it was excellent value for money compared with restaurants of similar food quality. An absolute hidden gem  and we will definitely be back. The atmosphere is relaxed and staff were knowledgeable about the dishes and attentive. We were there with  our dad for an 80th birthday treat and he had such a memorable experience - for which we’re really grateful. Thank you

Wow! What an amazing tasting menu and a beautiful wine pairing. The service and atmosphere of this place are also fantastic.
Each dish is carefully throught out and the wine matches it so well.

Daniel our main server was friendly and knowledgeable without being overbearing and the rest of the staff jumped in to help where needed.

Absolutely amazing food
We have now made this place our treat meal for birthdays every year. Also a special shout out to the cocktails, so well made and the perfect accompaniment to the food if you aren't a wine drinker

This was our 2nd trip to Coarse. We had a the 6 course taster menu, with the extra fish course, and the wine pairing.  It was first class, again! The wine accompaniment with each course was amazing, and totally made the dish.  The Espresso Martini at the end of the meal (this was extra) was probably the best Espresso Martino I have ever had. We will be back in the New Year.

This is my favourite restaurant. I come once a quarter (every time they change the menu) - I always try to bring someone new to introduce them to it! The food is exquisite, wines are divine & it is exceptional value. The staff are friendly & knowledgeable. Cannot recommend highly enough. It’s a small venue, & popular, so cook well in advance if you want a weekend reservation.
