Couldn’t recommend Kintsu enough. We had the tasting menu. The food looked and most importantly tasted amazing. Full of flavour and the fish and meat were so fresh with ingredients to match. The menu was so carefully curated and we were delighted that we didn’t have to choose the menu. Definitely the best place in Colchester that we’ve ever been to.

Fantastic hidden gem in Colchester! We were blown away by the quality, professionalism and character of Kintsu. We were
Lucky to have the Chefs Table Experience and I have to say every dish was wonderful. We paired this with a wine flight. All of the wines were divine and we had a wonderful evening. Thank you team Kintsu and see you again, soon!

The dishes we had were all really lovely with the venison being outstanding. The difference in the dishes was amazing and the combination of ingredients on each dish really well put together. They all complimented each other with every mouthful.

Divine food, great wine and wonderful service!
We celebrated our wedding anniversary there during our short trip to Colchester last December. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing…. One of our best dining experience! A must-go!

Really delicious interesting food, every course was beautifully presented and so much thought had gone into each dish. From the cheddar and Marmite tart we started with, to the peanut butter biscuit at the end, not one dish disappointed. We also chose the wine flight, and was able to taste wines we would never have ordered. The lady serving us was both knowledgeable and friendly and we will look forward to returning. Thank you!
