Disappointing dinner as the prices did not justify quality and portion size of the dishes. The beetroot starter was an absolute joke. The simplest, tasteless and smallest piece of beetroot. For £10 this started our dinner off quite poorly.
We told the staff it was too small to be considered a starter for an adult yet they did nothing to remedy the situation.
The rest of the courses were good yet very simple, and lacking taste.
We had bigger expectations from such a high establishment.

Lovely dinner here, food was very good although on the expensive side for what it was. Service was attentive throughout. I’m not sure why they sat people all together when the restaurant was nearly empty. It makes it a little awkward when you can hear every word that the next table are saying and vice versa. Would be better to give people the space to relax if you’re not fully booked.

Service and food is 10/10. All ingredients were fresh and flavoursome with excellent presentation. We were celebrating a birthday and our server gave us a nice sweet treat to take away, lovely thought!

By far the crème de la crème of restaurants in the Cotswolds. Food was requisite & extensive wine menu. Cocktails were very good & overall atmosphere was just excellent. Staff friendly and courteous, really made a fuss of my husbands birthday which was great.

Everything exceeded our expectations. We would regularly visit if we lived nearer, though it was worth our 160 miles round trip. THE SCALLOP was the BEST.
