We enjoyed our meal and time at the Darwin Brasserie at the London Sky Garden—but be warned, getting a reservation here is no joke. I had to book at least three weeks in advance to snag a spot, because otherwise you’ll end up waiting in a long line outside just to get into the Sky Garden. Once you have a reservation for any of the restaurants, you can skip the line entirely, which is such a relief.

During the day, the vibe is super casual, perfect for a relaxed meal with an amazing view. Come evening, though, the atmosphere transforms—you’ll see people all dressed up, and the live music adds a really special touch, especially with the city lights in the background. Honestly, I think you get the best view of London from here.

While entry to the Sky Garden itself is free if you book a ticket, I highly recommend making a restaurant reservation. It just elevates the whole experience to enjoy a meal while overlooking the breathtaking cityscape. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a memorable night out in London!

I had an amazing experience at Darwin Brasserie! Even though we arrived about 10 minutes late, the staff was incredibly accommodating, which made us feel so welcome. The Sky Garden itself was stunning, and the views from the restaurant were absolutely breathtaking. The atmosphere was vibrant and energetic, with a happy, lively vibe, especially with the DJ playing in the Sky Garden area.I also appreciated the thoughtful touch of having individual washrooms which added a sense of comfort and convenience.Overall, it was such a memorable experience. The prices felt just right for the incredible location, views, and ambiance. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting London—it’s definitely worth it!

Beautiful place, beautiful service. The food was very tasty and nicely served, the waiter Papa was very kind, approachable and really all the praise. The only thing that could have been a little nicer that day was the weather, it was quite foggy so the view of the city could not be seen, but all in all great. A very nice surprise at the end was a plate congratulating us on our anniversary.

Overall, we had a positive experience at Darwin, and I would recommend this restaurant. We went for a weekend brunch (£50 per person for 2 course meal) and booked a window table for the view, which was fantastic. However, the floor around our table and the chairs were quite dirty. The service was generally good, but we had an issue with our burger order—it was so delayed that by the time it arrived, the rest of our party had already finished their mains.

The apple juice was a disappointment, as it came straight from a carton despite costing £4.50. That said, the food exceeded our expectations. Both the beef tartare and salmon starter were excellent, and the roast chicken supreme was a standout. It was incredibly tender, perfectly roasted, and paired with an outstanding sauce—easily one of the best chicken dishes I’ve had in London.

Such a lovely picture place to go for dinner. We had the festive menu. I had the goats cheese and mushroom tart - it was nice but a lot of goats cheese (bit too much for me but that’s a preference). I also had the Sea Bream and Sticky toffee pudding which were nice. The roast turkey was amazing and so was the basque cheesecake. Also the cocktail options were great.
