We visited this pub for an evening meal a week ago as we were staying nearby visiting family for a few days.
Really impressed with the whole service, experience and food.
My daughter is Coeliac so we always have to check what is suitable for her to eat from the menu. Honestly the staff were brilliant with us. They went through the menu clearly highlighting what was suitable for some on a gluten free diet and what measures were in place. My daughter opted for a lamb pasta dish which she really enjoyed.
The rest of our party had a selection of other usual items from the menu. It was all delicious.
Thanks so much for making such an effort with the gluten free menu. Overall the service, food and atmosphere of the restaurant/ pub was fabulous and it will definitely be a place to visit again when we are back in the area.

Nice location- near Gospel Oak train station.
Visited a friend and we decided to have a dinner here (partly as they were quite booked up till the evening on Sunday! so may want to plan to make a reservation a day or two earlier).
The pub is also a boutique hotel so there seemed to be folks coming and going through the bar area.
The food was pretty good, nice cozy setting inside. I'd say a mix of upmarket/contemporary design especially towards the bar with a nod to the past around the fireplace and bull heads around the upper walls.
The patrons were more gentrified compared with other pubs we had visit earlier in the day around the area.
The food was good, I had fish and chips. It was reasonably priced. Service was excellent.

Nice looking pub that was bustling with fellow diners for Sunday lunch. A couple of issues with this pub;
£5 for 4 small slices of "bread" it was so sweet it tasted more like cake.
We had 4 roastbeef lunches and my wife had no gravy - yet when one of our friends asked for more gravy they charged £4 - seems a little one way?

With 3 bloody Mary's , 3 starters and 3 desserts no wine ,the bill was a fairly outrageous £260

Recently visited the Bull and Last for the first time for a Sunday Roast. We had 4 courses and all the food was really tasty. They were very accommodating for vegetarian requests also. The service was fantastic; very attentive and friendly. They couldn't do enough for us. Would highly recommend!

A big pre-Christmas lunch with friends - we sat upstairs in the restaurant, which had been very well decorated, making it very Christmassy.
We loved the menu - a mix of starters, including the buttermilk fried chicken - and then onto the mains, including a roast turkey, possibly the juiciest roast turkey I've ever had.
We were well looked after throughout - thr staff could not have been more helpful.  We'll definitely be coming back!
