A very east London vibe bakery. Very popular so long queue expected at weekends. Pros first - staff are nice and lovely, and checked if there’s anything missing after serving each item. Food arrived fairly quickly considering it’s a busy Saturday morning. The eggs arrived piping hot which was good.

However, probably the biggest con - the food was so BLAND! The scrambled eggs had nice texture but barely any flavour! No trace of butter, milk, or even egg. The chili butter on top was quite spicy and salty, which didn’t go really well with the eggs imo. The sourdough bread was really good though. This dish got so much potential but sadly just didn’t deliver… The croissant, well, quite different from many other croissants, had a good dense and chewy sourdough, which added a unique hint of sourdough taste to it.  But it was a bit dry and a bit underwhelming.

Coffee was good. Overall, stick to the baked goods and bread if you come here. Wouldn’t recommend people living far to travel all the way here just for the bakery. But if you’re in the area, no harm checking it out.

The food is tasty and the value for money very good for toasts. They forgot my order and had to wait beyond the stated 30min (my friend ordered and got it more than 15min before) but they were able to get it out fast after I said it to the staff. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the wilted greens which were very difficult to chew (they seemed of good quality and big ones, but I think they needed more cooking time). They could offer poached eggs and avocado but that’s a personal wish. I liked that they have an open kitchen and you can see how they cook.
The sweets were delicious and pricier for some of them (rye chocolate cookie). I had the peanut butter blondie.
I understand it’s quite standard in London and the reasoning behind but I don’t like the fact that they charge quite a bit more for dine in versus take away for sweets. That’s not standard in cafes in other countries and especially if sweets are already sold at a slightly high price IMO

Pastries were okay, I would not come all the way here just.

I came here on Saturday 11am and to my surprise the queue was relatively short (5 ppl in front of me). There were plenty of seats available- indoors and outdoors with good spacing. I also saw lots of people having toasts - looks good and the portion is big but haven’t had that yet.

Great bakery in London Fields. We just got coffee but the food looked amazing.
The coffee was really yummy!

There is lots of sitting space and when we were there they were doing free wine tastings. Really fun to cozy up and play some cards with friends !

Such a nice little cafe, lots of people and delicious pastries and cakes being served. I had a pain au chocolat (probably the butteries I've found d in london) and a choc cookie which was perfect. All the coffees being served out looked amazing aswell. Great for a place to study as they have Wi-Fi also and are open later than alot of other bakeries.
