The security getting in is brutal - ID check and two lines of security finally involved getting my groin fondled by a Polish bouncer which some might enjoy but I didn't find too appealing. The club itself is pretty good - spacious and didn't pack out too much. Drinks are pretty steep but there's lots of places to sit. Floor mostly not too sticky.

Superb venue with tiered standing to make viewing easier. However it was the group The Heavy Heavy that made it a perfect night in London. Without a doubt the best gig I've been to in years.

Saw Grup Simsek yesterday. Amazing acoustics. Nice staff. Security was professional. Beer was very expensive so I only had one. Nice to see Salt on taps. Gig was great value at £20 ish.

A legend of a venue. I have seen it read about it and now been there watching Laurie Wright, The Molotovs, A.R.T and superswamp jellyfish all in one night. From the start of the night to the end was a good experience. No issues, no hassle and a well laid out venue. A small example of the night in pictures and video.

Always wanted to attend a gig at Scala, and I did and I was not disappointed. Great atmosphere, and Ladaniva were the best band to see at this legendary venue
