Fabulous setting as you get to sit among the alluring food display in the exquisite Harrods but this is not the place to enjoy sushi for 2 reasons. It is bloody expensive and sub par in taste and freshness. When you order sushi rolls, they bring out pre-rolled sushi from Tupperware out, which they cut and plate. They're probably still relatively fresh (ie rolled within the day), but it is quite surprising that an establishment that charges 18 - 40 pounds per roll to not roll sushi upon order. 

Pro: great green tea.

As the name Harrod's would suggest sushi here at this tiny bar is really, really good. It is fresh, tasty and authentic. 
Keep an eye on the silent Japanese chef preparing your bits and pieces while also watching the shoppers rushing by. 
Only a couple of seats are placed around the bar which could make it feel slightly cramped during busy times.
On their small menu they got the usual sushi / nigeri variations, miso soup and a couple of (non-alcoholic only?) drinks.
It's expensive indeed bit it's simply worth it. :)

Great place to have luxury chocolate surroundings are quite old and a little tired looking, but the food and hot chocolate is amazing. Well worth a visit if you are in Knightsbridge.

The Sushi Bar at Harrods is one of many restaurants, counters, bars, etc. when you need a break from shopping. The bar is often very busy with people waiting for a seat and this is even with a 12 pound minimum per person charge (which isn't that much given that the sushi is on the slightly expensive side). The last time we were there the service was reasonable and the sushi reasonably tasty. This time we couldn't get a seat and just wanted to order some California rolls but didn't want 12 or 24 pounds (sterling) worth Sushi so went to the dim sum restaurant across the hallway. Shortly after leaving the hostess brought over the California rolls to us in the dim sum bar and let us know there was no minimum since were eating there. This was a wonderful surprise and great example of the Harrod's customer service.

A real money drain for what tasted like pre packaged sushi...after converting to US, it was about 80 bucks for 3 types of Sushi....bad, bad and more bad....fresh but tasteless....a real disappointment ....and considering it was Harrods...expectations were high.
I could have done better ar Tesco or a gas station.
