This was our second time here. Previously we went for lunch a couple of years ago and the food was great. This time, however, the dinner experience was a bit different.

The overall ambience was too dark and as the sun faded out of prominence, we could see people having to use their phone flashlights to read the menu - so did we ! But - while it was too dark to read the menu, it was bright enough to make it pleasant overall I think.

The food was really good but for the price, you’d expect it to be outstanding. Make no mistake, the food wasn’t bad, it just didn’t blow us away!

The service, however, was exceptional! Francesco, our server, was amazing and ever present. There were other members of the staff who kept checking in every so often. Overall, I’d give 6 stars if I could for the service.

Came here for a birthday meal. We were told to wait in the bar area for quite some time considering there were a lot of free tables when we arrived, which was not ideal. Service was very good and attentive- the server even provided what they think are good dishes and they were right. Views are obviously amazing but the darkness of the restaurant is a bit too much. We got the wonton, vegetable spring rolls and dim sum platter- all were amazing. We got the beef rib next which was a bit dry and lacked a sauce. Deep fried crab was really nice though. Egg fried rice also very good. Mocktail also good. Price point is high but we were full when we left.

His recommendations were spot-on, and he made the night feel extra special with his professionalism and charm.

We was really looking forward for this meal, we choose this for our anniversary meal, so we have a high expectation but sadly they didn’t deliver. When we arrived to our table, they didn’t ask what menu we want we just given 1 and that’s that. The starter you basically have them all and free flow, which was nice but the food was not even warm. I thought maybe cos it’s starter, the main got to be hot, right ? So we didn’t say anything. We had more spring rolls and prawns wanton. When the main come, I’m really disappointed as it’s barely warm… it’s cold noodle, cold sweat and sour chicken and cold scrambled egg and scallops! I mean how far is their kitchen! Sorry but for the price we paid, they need to do a LOT better than cold dishes.

Hutong was amazing! I had a wonderful time. We had the Window Experience set menu and it was delicious. I never thought that a set menu could be 10/10 throughout, but this definitely was. We were served by Gina and she made our experience 10 times better! She made us feel very welcome and greeted us with a smile. I will definitely be back!
