Peckham Rye Park is a fantastic green space that offers something for everyone. It’s a vibrant and diverse park, perfect for families, fitness enthusiasts, or anyone looking to relax and unwind.

The park is beautifully maintained, with expansive open fields ideal for picnics, games, or simply soaking up the sun. The gardens, including the Japanese Garden and the ornamental flower beds, are absolutely stunning and provide peaceful spots for a leisurely stroll. There’s also a serene lake that adds to the park’s charm.

For those into fitness, the park has well-paved paths perfect for running or walking, and plenty of space for outdoor workouts. Families will love the well-equipped children’s play area, and there’s even a cafe nearby for a coffee break or a light snack.

It's an interesting park to visit. The description of areas is somewhat strange  as they do not meet the idea that one might have for that area. For instance, the Japanese garden is not what I would consider Japanese, and the lake is really a large pond.

Such a beautiful, well cared for park. Great place to walk your dog, hang out with the kids, have a coffee, and the cafe sells a really nice pizza. Looks lovely in the autumn.

I came here with my two young children and we had a fabulous autumnal day out. The playground has it all: sand, water, rocks, trampoline, big adventure climbing, and smaller climbing and play equipment. They spent ages here - longer than at other playgrounds. We then enjoyed exploring the Japanese garden with all its gorgeous streams, trees and bridges. We'll be back soon!
