We have been a few times and always had a good time at Soif - lovely atmosphere, attentive staff and tasty food. It's always exciting to find out what's on the menu when we turn up. The regular appearance rotisserie chicken is top notch (forgot to take photo as we just wanted to dive in!). The only thing is the food is sometimes a tad too salty for us inc sauce eg aioli.

This French bistrot was such a tasty find! Great food, service and atmosphere. Everything our table ordered was delicious, with highlights being the pumpkin starter and the bavette for me. Richard, who looked after us was a delight! Definitely recommend it and will be back!

the best impressions, hard to describe. Simply everything, but the combination of wine and food is beyond praise! Canteberian anchovies in first place, Iberico tomatoes and oysters for starters. Grilled chicken for three with a mind-blowing sauce for the main will leave no doubt about the quality. Wine in the photo, try it yourself! And we were very pleased! We will come many more times and recommend it to you!

Celebrated our first wedding anniversary at Soif and trusted the reviews when we booked because we’ve never been before. It did NOT disappoint!! We went on Monday and that’s when they have their Chicken Mondays (and wine bottles at takeaway prices) so ofc we had the 1/2 chicken, fries and bitter leaves.

Also ordered the fried artichoke with goat’s curd and cavolo Nero baro (tasted like risotto) - everything was sooo good 🤍 well seasoned, great textures and great flavours. Chicken was succulent and honestly couldn’t have asked for more. We also got the apple tart and it was probably the best tart I’ve ever had!

Service was also friendly and the manager helped us pick our wine with such patience and care. Will definitely be coming back in the near future. For a Monday night it was also buzzing so you can tell it’s a neighbourhood fav.
