Busaba St Christopher’s Place delivers an unforgettable culinary journey!

We kicked off our meal with the sharing platter for two and calamari—both were bursting with flavor and perfect for sharing. For mains, the jungle curry was a standout, rich and aromatic, paired beautifully with the coconut rice. The Songkhla beef was tender and expertly spiced, making every bite a delight.

To complement our meal, we sipped on the refreshing pineapple mocolada, which was the perfect balance of sweet and tropical. For dessert, the banana fritters were crispy and indulgent, while the chocolate fondant was decadently rich, melting in our mouths.

The ambiance was inviting, and the staff were attentive and friendly, making for a truly memorable dining experience. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking to savor authentic Thai cuisine!

The food is absolutely delicious especially if you're served by Resham! He is such a friendly waiter with the best advice on what to order and he was absolutely right. Thank you for a wonderful birthday experience Resham and all your kindness. We are coming back the food is so delicious and  authentic.
I ordered a pina colada with the rum and its the best Pina Colada I have ever had!
We ordered tamarind duck, the sharer platter, beef brisket and payaya prawn salad. See below. Thank you Busaba, Marylebone. X

Haven't been to Busaba in a while but the pad Thai (while the noodles were a little too chewy) was decent and the lamb shank with massumam sauce was tender and tasty. Star of the show was the sharing calamari (not pictured).

Not sure if under new management or something but recently went here and experienced quite the drop off since our last visit. Food was good but not great. Mango sticky rice (pictured) was ruined by a heated mango puree, which they've never done before, and also the addition of sesame seeds. Previously the mango sticky rice here has been pretty legit compared to the dish in Thailand.

I'm also a bit baffled at a Thai place this nice acting confused when we asked for chopsticks, which they somehow don't have or offer.

Will give it another try in the future but can't say I'll be returning often if future experiences are like this one

Ordered 3 vegan dishes

1.) SRIRACHA HO FUN NOODLES (VG)
Wok-fried mushroom, red pepper, spinach and flat rice noodles with hot sweet chilli, soy and ginger. 617 kcal. (£14) - 7.5/10. Soy sauce based. I liked it but something in the veg tasted unusual. But it’s a dish I have had before several times and I still like the thick noodles.

2.) ASPARAGUS FRIED RICE (VG)
Asparagus fried rice, apple, sundried tomatoes and pickled pink ginger. 460 kcal. (£14) - 7.5/10. 3rd time eating this dish I think, and I think it used to taste nicer.

3.) Pad Thai Jay 903 kcal (N) (VG)
Wok broccoli, courgette, green beans & tofu.(£14) - 7.5/10. The noodles are nice and so are the toppings. But again there was something which tasted odd which I had to spit out. Maybe one of the greens. In general I like this dish but maybe got unlikely with the freshness of the vegetables today since I felt this across 2 dishes.

This chain is still a good back up eatery for me following a plant-based diet. 🌱 I like their wide selection of vegan dishes and rice side dishes.
