I confused this pub with another one where I had a booking. They, therefore, weren't expecting me. And there I was with all my tribe. They did accept us and with such a warm welcome that you really gain hope in humanity again.
The barmaid is such a nice lady. Keep the vibe, dear. People like you really lack in this world!
The food was excellent. I had my first Sunday roast. The size was generous so I couldn't finish.
The waiter was very professional and nice.
I hope to come again if I come back to London.

I've enjoyed many Sunday roasts, but this time I had the pleasure of introducing someone very special to their first one. She absolutely loved the variety of vegetables that came with the vegetarian roast, especially the cauliflower, which she thought was amazing. All the flavors blended together harmoniously. It was a great first experience, with wonderful company, delicious food, and a warm atmosphere with very friendly staff. Highly recommend:

A step back in time. One room, dimly lit, happy patrons chatting and laughing. The modern touches are the clean bathroom, quick service and good quality food inclusive of dietary restrictions. Can't wait to return for a Sunday roast!

Slightly tired “Ye Olde Worlde” pub with a largely ornate wooden interior. Not too many seats and perhaps there are more upstairs int it was shut for a private event.

Quite loud in there but nice enough for a “not so quiet” drink.

Nice little pub in a quiet street. Good choice of beer and the food was very good. Would recommend the meat pie and the fish and chips. The chicken sandwich was just okay.
