The cakes were ordinary to me but they were nice. I was expecting cheesy matcha cake, it tasted like mousse cake which isn’t my type. In this case, the chocolate cake was much better compared to matcha cake.

We had mocha and filter coffee as well, and I had espresso the other day. I’ll say the expresso is better than mocha due to it has nice acidic aftertaste. So I’ll say the filter coffee even the notes in the coffee compared to the espresso.

It’s pretty subjective experience, and it’s mine. Probably people have their liking, so just give it a shot. At least the staff are welcoming.

I’m a huge Monocle fan and subscriber, and a regular at their coffee hub. I have to say, though, I’m quite disappointed with the new layout. They removed the couch at the back, which I understand was to create more space, but the result feels incredibly uncomfortable. In its place, they’ve added small benches that are far less inviting. I can’t count how many meaningful conversations and friendships I’ve made thanks to that couch—it’s truly a shame.

On top of that, the coffee bar flow doesn’t work as well as it could. The coffee area is now at the far end, so people arriving and leaving end up facing each other, leading to unavoidable bumps. It’s unfortunate, as it disrupts the atmosphere that made the space so special.

Had a quick stop here for a coffee and a snack and was pleasantly surprised by the egg sando which was quite good, with fluffy scrambled eggs. Great tasting coffee as well.

Used to be my favorite spot, unfortunately after their renovations the place it self has lost it’s spark and atmosphere. And way less seating than before. Quite disappointing as i used to be a regular for the past year and loved the coziness of the place and their coffee and I often loved their sandwiches too.

Visited two weeks ago and the tiny space was packed. The food was delish and the coffee was good too. The toilet has a bidet - it's the first time I saw one in the UK.
