Beautiful hotel located at a perfect place that you can walk to most things. Rooms were comfortable as well as beautiful.
The American Bar has amazing drinks and good food.
The service is impeccable. The staff helped walk our luggage several blocks on New Years Day to meet a cab. This was to ensure we would get to the airport because the brilliant politicians in London had all the streets closed.

Had afternoon tea, and the selection of teas was very fun and varied. The sandwiches and desserts were wonderful, and the desserts were themed adorably for the winter holidays. It can be a bit expensive, and it is a lot of food, but to experience it at least once was all worth it.

Our family of five spent at week at The Stafford for Christmas 2024.  The location of the hotel, ambiance of the decorations, kindness of staff, impeccability of food and snacks were SUPERB!  The hotel is homey and formal all at the same time...exactly what we were looking for!  If your travels end up in London, please consider The Stafford for your stay!  And definitely try the White Mouse at the American Bar.  Cheers!

Underwhelming!
We stayed here on the 20th Feb due to the glowing reviews.
The room was basic and in need of a refurb.
There was a big tear in the carpet, the 'exclusive marble bathroom' had been patched up over the years and looked tatty, full of poor repairs and sealant.
The room was equiped with a coffee machine and just 3 pods, no tea making facilities you have to ask!
The room was overlooked by the adjacent apartments so no view.
We had a 10 year old with us so we were not allowed in the American bar.
The beds were comfortable
We were woken up around 7am by a screaming lady from next door complaining her breakfast had not turned up which made her late, the whole scenario seemed to go on for an age.
Maybe we had a bad room but from my experience this seemed a basic hotel, in a backstreet that charges 5 star prices.
