Great service, chefs that understand flavour, and wonderful wine. Plenty of attention to detail. One of the best meals we’ve had in London - set menu is great value too. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic restaurant- nicely understated, cool vibe and great balance across food, wine, service. We celebrated our wedding anniversary there and the whole staff signed a card to us - lovely, genuine touch and so much kinder than a candle in a pudding ! Thank you. Definitely will be back for some of the Mad Dog Warwick wine 😀

Second visit and the food is still incredible. Very happy the way they cooked the fish although i did find a small bone. The crab cushioning the fish was something new to me. Confident to say I love their choux bun with yogurt flavour cream, chestnut cream, and berry compote. Perfect end note.🎵front of house service was excellent. Really appreciate this level of attentiveness in London. hope clipstone would come back to the spotlight of the london dining scene!!

I went in Clipstone with no expectation but left the Michelin bistro with a big smile in my face. From the down-to-earth handwritten birthday card to the professional fine-dining style of service, the nicely-decorated eatery checked many boxes to make a birthday guest like me felt settled and pleased. Also a special shoutout to Dani who served my table wholeheartedly!

It’s not easy to come across restaurants in London with tasty and finely-crafted dishes. So it was a pleasant surprise when I found the dishes in Clipstone were creatively-curated and executed, such as the confit tomato tart with cheddar custard & red onion and tempura courgette with whipped ricotta, honey, walnut & basil were my favourites. It was amazing to see such innovative dishes unleashed in the kitchen of this small bistro. The seasonal dishes featured a lot of British ingredients like the Devon Down hogged, haft cheddar custard and the London honey. It would be interesting to come back in the future to see what they have to offer in a different time of the year.

Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for somewhere to celebrate or just a night out with your loved ones!
