I had an enjoyable time at Monopoly Lifesized on Tottenham Court Road. The staff were welcoming and lovely and contributed to a fun atmosphere. But, considering it’s £60+ per person, the additional £1.50 per item fee for the cloakroom felt excessive; it would be more reasonable to include this service in the admission cost, also a more realistic cost for this experience would have been £30+ per person. The 80-minute session involved moving to different rooms to solve puzzles and quizzes based on dice rolls, if we solved these puzzles we were able to build houses and hotels. It was engaging but involved less physical movement than anticipated as there were less locations to land on so the space felt and was quite small. As a team of 6, we should have been split into 2 teams, to give us a better experience since each room was small. After the game, we visited The Top Hat Restaurant & Bar. The service was slow, but the food good. Overall a descent experience but the board game is much more enjoyable.

I had booked tickets in advance for 6 people back in October for Saturday 11th January for 15:30. This was booked to celebrate my mums birthday as she loves Monopoly and games.

We got there 20 minutes early, so there was time to look around their souvenir store and they had lots of games as well to play while you waited such as Bop it, Twister and more.

They also have a cloakroom which is £1.50 to put away your coat before the games start.

The board we booked was the Classic Board, there are four teams of 6 and you battle it out against the other teams. It’s very interactive and there are actors on the day that join you on your monopoly journey. You do tasks at depending on where you land on, as well as doing mini games or trivia in between. Everyone in our party had a great time, even the ones that never played monopoly before (like my dad and brother) - they enjoyed it also.

This is a fun experience if you like monopoly, like games, are competitive and enjoy a bit of good board game fun with a twist. Would highly recommend it, the actors were amazing and really added to the experience. I would definitely come again to try a different board next time.

We owned it - well nearly! We took a chance on the life size Monopoly and traveled up in the afternoon to celebrate a birthday with mate's kids. It was good for a family overall, as a London experience, a fun time had, although a bit pricey £54 each, £1.50 per item for the cloakroom plus Train station costs plus food and drink, you need plenty in the bank that's for sure!

There are four types of boards but we only played Classic - own it all. Once we passed Go, all boards are the same rules but each has a different experience. The Restaurant was good which was set in the same location and as was the bar with reasonable drink and cocktail selection.

Decor was brilliant as you would expect for a Monopoly brand. Presentation during the game was good but hard to hear even from a short distance, as it was quite noisy. Again cost was high for what it was for 1hr. Slightly hard to understand and see the board layout and position in the game. Some elements of the props were quite warn out and could do with Repairs!

The challenges to play were either very easy or quite hard for young family members. We kept getting interrupted by the staff to see how we were doing but as you have a time limit on each, that gets quite annoying, if you plan to win big.

The place was busy at the time but able to house many groups. Plenty of souvenirs can be purchased, as you would expect from such a brand. We would probably visit again to experience a different board, just remember to book in advance rather than take a chance....4/5

Was a little chaotic and hard to keep up but a lot of fun. The staff are great and really into helping your experience. It would be better. With 4 per team. It’s hard for all 6 to see and do the challenges.

We had an awesome time at Monopoly Lifesize and would definitely recommend for groups of friends or for families of mixed ages. It caters for everyone!!
We played as a team of 6 as the battleship playing piece with Captain Jack Shallow who (along with the other actors) made the experience so much fun and make sure everyone was part of the game. Loved it!
