This is a 10/10 hotel.
We - family of 5- stayed at The Peninsula during the last week of February.
The hotel staff is super friendly and they try their best to accommodate every wish you may have. To me, this is good enough. None of them avoids eye contact with the guests; always looking to say hello and offer assistance.
The room for 5 was just spacious enough for us not to feel squeezed into it.
They cleaned it twice a day and it was a great feeling to come back each time to a super clean room. As you can imagine, a family of 5, room became a mess very quickly, but we always came back and found it clean and organized.
The rooms have everything you can think of, meaning the latest technology and gadgets.
For me personally, the cigar lounge at the top floor was all I could ask for. Great service there too.
Overall, ten out of ten hotel.

P.S: I do 100 flights a year, mainly in North America and the Caribbean, and stay at luxury hotels all over; trust me that this one is worth the money. Especially when you are 5 people looking for a fancy hotel.

Where should I start? Simply the best staycation I have ever had during the recent 2 years, had a perfectly wonderful anniversary with my GF. The design and facilities of the hotel is top notch, the size of room is perhaps the biggest in the Europe, thanks to Peninsula’s high consistency across its properties around the world, when it comes to design, quality, size, hardware as well as the technology (Can’t wait to see AI and IoT to be incorporated into Peninsula’s room in the future!! if so what would be a game changer), simply the best in the whole UK. Unlike most of so-called luxury hotel in Europe which charge you over 1000 Euro providing you only 20-30 shabby poor room, all construction standards in Peninsula London are in line with those in Asia and ME. 50 sqm is a must for entry-level room, also Japanese Toto washlet is the standard for luxury hotels. Everything you can touch, see and feel are on the another level, simply a higher-dimensional strike to its competitors in the Europe.

Service was impeccable, it’s not just about staff I met were very professional, it’s more about make me feel the home away from home.

I would like to sincerely say heartfelt thank you to Scott, Mohammad, David for arranging such wonderful stay for us, as well as all the staff during our stay who were working very hard to leave us an unforgettable memory, it’s been such a long time that no other luxury hotels could spark me such a strong desire want to be back! ( Can’t wait to be back to celebrate birthday later this year as well as stay with another new gem curated by Peninsula in Istanbul!)

We had afternoon tea at the Peninsula London when the hotel first opened and it was flavorful with intricate pastries and Instagram worthy presentations.  The service was more of a star than the food and that is still the case.  On this visit we enjoyed a normal tea and a vegan version.  The service was amazing!  The tea was underwhelming.  The sandwiches comprised of a thin sliver of cucumber, beet, etc.   The staff were very kind in offering additional sandwiches, but they just weren't that tasty.  The vegan pastries kind of all tasted the same.  Although the vegan scones were delicious.  The vegan substitution for clotted cream was so hard I couldn't use it.  Overall, how do you not enjoy the Peninsula hotel?

We came on Mother's Day for afternoon tea , we opted for the non vegan food which was delicious , we drank champagne, coffee & speciality teas. The service was excellent made us feel very special & didn't feel rushed .  We enjoyed the whole experience especially the pianist which gave it a lovely ambiance . Highly recommend .
