Quite a nice hotel in a fabulous location—but a few deceptive things to watch for. The service is (almost entirely) top notch. Very kind and attentive—especially Martina.

*Overall, it’s totally great for the price—but it’s definitely not a four star hotel*. That’s a bit laughable, honestly.

First off, despite the big image of a burger and the words ROOM SERVICE on the website—there’s no room service. Instead they’ve partnered with delivery services that you order from at certain times of day.

The images on the site give a sense of elegance that the hotel no doubt once had, but those days are faded. If they were more straightforward and said it’s (maybe) a three star hotel with few amenities, then our expectations would have been right. It’s a nice place, so I’m not sure why they’re trying to over-reach.

Also be warned that rooms on Charlotte are noisy and the hotel doesn’t really let you control the temperature in the rooms. They stay the same no matter what temperature you choose.

All told, if you expect a three star place with few amenities, you’ll be happy. Comfy beds and a nice tub in the rooms that have them. The location and staff are what makes it shine.

Had the absolute best birthday trip here booked by my boyfriend. The staff made our trip extra special by upgrading us to a suite, and because we had to wait to get into the room, complimentary drinks and a late check out for free! I couldn’t recommend this place more it’s a hidden gem! Shout out to Vasco and Maria for making this trip extra special! Hope to see you all again soon. Thank you!!

This is an adorable little hotel. The whole staff is wonderful; they are extremely polite, friendly and helpful.  They left a great impression of British people on me. They made us feel like the Queen and King of England. Also, there are several great restaurants nearby the hotel. I love this hotel.

A lovely place to stay for a theatre break. All members of staff go above and beyond to meet your every need, especially Vasco and Umesh on reception who were extremely helpful. The room was spotless, bed was really comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

The room was very small but comfortable. The breakfast and breakfast staff were very good. We were woken on Saturday morning by what sounded like carpet fitters in the room above. I mentioned this to reception but they didn't care. They said that they would mention it to the manager in the following week. Please bear this in mind before booking.
