We had an amazing experience. Holy Carrot offers a fully plant based menu that ranges across little dishes, mains, brunch dishes and desserts. They also have an interesting wine list (by the glass and by the bottle) and selection of cocktails offered on partnership with a well known cocktail bar. The atmosphere and service was were very kind and attentive; greatly recommended! Looking forward to visit again and try their menu as it changes through seasons.

Had a lunch at Holy Carrot. The best place for top quality dishes even for non vegan. We ordered humus with focaccia to start - the bread was warm and delicious, humus had some crunchy elements on the side and some green oil (amazing).
For mains we had shakshuka and celeriac schnitzel burger. Both dishes were great, very filling and had so many elements in it we couldn’t even named all of them.
The best part of the menu was leek. This is the must have if you are at the restaurant. Tasty and amazing dish, my personal number one.

Went for lunch here yesterday to celebrate mother's day early. We arrived 15 minutes early and were told the table wasn't ready which was fair enough. We came back on time at 12:30pm for our booking and the table was still not ready. We were asked to sit by the bar (where there were only 2 seats and we were a party of 4) even though there was a table of 4 which was free and the table had already been set. This table was also ready when we arrived 15 minutes earlier. We waited about 10 minutes for our table to be set up and the group who arrived 10 minutes after us were shown to the free table which we could have been seated at. The guy who was handling the reservations and tables was so poorly organised, he had no clue what he was doing. Not a great start to the meal. Starters wise we had the Koji bread with mushroom Ragu and the roasted leeks which were both divine and full of flavour. For mains we had the mushroom wings, schnitzel burger and cassoulet. The mushroom wings were the highlight of the mains but felt like the choice of mains during brunch was a bit lacking. 3 out of the 5 main options were all fried. Portion sizes are good so we were feeling very full. However, the service continued to go downhill - one of our drinks was not served and we had to chase two waitresses twice and when we asked for a refill of water, the guy who was managing the tables said "ok fine" and rolled his eyes. Whilst I appreciate that might have been intended as a joke, with the service already as poor as it was, it really wasn't funny. On top of that, he didn't even bring back a refill of water. Again, I had to ask another waitress for a refill of water. Honestly, the food saved this review from being a 1 star but you really should review your service because it is not up to standard. I would be cautious to recommend Holy Carrot to friends purely based on the poor service.

We tried this restaurant with my husband on a friend recommendation and we really loved it, the food is amazing, very innovative and tasty, we had a fantastic experience at Holy Carrot. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding—especially the sweet potato with miso sauce and the rice pudding I had for dessert, which was bursting with flavor. Overall, excellent service and top-notch.  They are very popular and get busy so better to book a table though as recently we turned up to have lunch on my birthday without realising we had to book and we could not get a table.

One of my favourite restaurants in London and definitely the best opening of 2024! I absolutely love it here and adore everything that Daniel has done with the menu. Whether you’re vegan, veggie or omnivorous I’m sure you will love it here too!
