Super quality food and cozy ambiance, they have everything to offer that you need on a cold winter date night. Cannot thank the owners enough for putting up such an amazing show. I don’t remember having this good meat in a while. Everything was top!

After weeks of searching for the perfect restaurant to host my friends and family for my 40th birthday, we settled on Sucre. Their fixed menus catered to a variety of dietary requirements, with options across several price tiers, and the booking process—though involving much back-and-forth to confirm numbers and deposits—built the excitement for our celebration.

You can imagine our disappointment when we arrived, only to find we’d been seated in separate parts of the restaurant. This was especially frustrating as we had booked well in advance and could see there was space to seat our entire party together along one side of the restaurant.

The evening itself was far more stressful than it should have been. We were rushed by waiting staff to start the meal just 10 minutes after arriving, only to experience long gaps between dishes. Portion sizes added to the confusion, as some dishes were meant to be shared in pairs while others were shared between four—something that wasn’t explained upfront. Ordering drinks proved to be another challenge, as it was difficult to catch the attention of staff in the loud, crowded space.

The noise level was almost unbearable. While I’m hard of hearing, it wasn’t just me—the entire party struggled to hold meaningful conversations unless someone was sitting right next to them. And to add to the frustration, we were reprimanded like naughty children in a classroom for trying to take photos, even without flash.

Ultimately, what should have been a joyful celebration turned into a rushed and chaotic experience. While the food itself was tasty and vibrant, it was overshadowed by the poor organization, chaotic service, and a stifling environment. For a restaurant with great reviews, this was a deeply disappointing experience on such a special occasion.

I love when restaurants do it right and Sucre was so amazing I can’t recommend it enough. Their food was 10/10 all around— appetisers (tiger prawn skewers), mains (beef short ribs 10/10; sirloin), and the cheese cake dessert was divine.

Service was amazing as well as restaurant interiors— very beautiful. Will definitely come back again some time soon!

We were only in London for a few days and I love trying foods more local to the area but, my partner is Argentine. So, of course we had to find an Argentine restaurant while on vacation. Sucre did not disappoint though. We actually came back again because it was so good!
Sucre is a very nice and fancy place but we sat in the bar area both times and had a more “at home” experience. We chatted up the employees, talking with the bar tender, the manager, and an Argentine chef who came to see how we liked everything.
The food was superb. We ordered the more authentic Argentine dishes and were so very happy.
Thank you to Olivet (I think is how it’s spelt?) for such a great experience. We hope to make it back here again and highly recommend anyone looking for something good to eat in London goes to Sucre.

I discovered this place online, and it looked promising, so my boyfriend and I decided to go for lunch. From the moment we arrived, I was impressed. The decor is stunning, with unique touches that create a welcoming and elegant ambiance.

The service was exceptional—friendly and attentive. The food was truly incredible. My boyfriend, who is usually hard to impress, rated his steak a 10/10, which I've never heard him say before! I had the risotto with roasted bell peppers, and it was just as delicious.

Dining there at lunch was a pleasant surprise as it was quiet and relaxed. Even the bathrooms were spotless, which is always a plus.

Overall, I have no complaints. Everything from the food to the service to the ambiance was fantastic. I’m already looking forward to my next visit and highly recommend it!
