I arrived mid -morning and left mid-afternoon,so probably around a 4 hour visit.There is so much to experience in the incredibly large gardens.There was a sculpture exhibition on when I was there but there are permanent art  and architectural installations also.
The water-lillies and the temperate and palm houses are well known and very popular.I enjoyed The Hive which added a modern twist and the Treetop Walkway.The Pagoda is a beautiful sight and if you can manage lots of stairs the view from the top is amazing.
There are plenty of places to eat and lots of seating around.

Absolutely beautiful experience. I wish I had scheduled more time in my day to explore the entirety of the park. The lilypad building was closed for maintenance but we were able to peak through the glass. Even tho it was rainy and a bit it was this was a wonderful experience.

A fantastic day out with something for everyone. There is a good selection of attractions, restaurants, cafés and shops in the park. If you're fit you can do it in a day but I'd recommend splitting it over 2 days if you're into botany.

This garden is fantastic! There is so much to see here, I think it would take three or four visits to go down every path and see everything! Plan for at least a full day if you are going to try and see everything. There are miles of well kept trails with beautiful views the whole time. There are many rare and unique plants and buildings to see this is a definite must see if visiting London area!
