The hostel is an easy walk from the station. It has an interesting area to explore around it with the canal and some beautiful bridges.
The rooms were lovely with a shower room and toilet. The beds are comfortable.
The kitchen is great with a wonderful games area and downstairs ablutions. There is also a lift to go upstairs. The food and drinks available are great value for money as is the optional breakfast

I stayed at this place for 2 nights in a dorm room for 4. Comfortable beds, enough space for storing luggage and clean ensuite bathroom/shower.
The ladies at the reception were quite friendly and helpful.
Overall a good stay. Highly recommend.
Only thing I'd suggest is adding curtains to the beds for privacy.

Clean and quite, I booked a dorm room for myself and a mate, and we where pleasantly surprised we were only sharing with two other people, and we had our own shower/toilet between the four of us.
There was an issue with the shower being stuck on hot, which between reporting and fixing was done in 30 minutes.
Staff were great.

Great, affordable hostel near downtown Manchester. Visited this and the London Central YHA while on vacation, and I'd much prefer this location. Beds and sheets were clean, the bathroom in the room is a bonus, and there's dedicated storage for your carry on, as well as enough space under the bed for bigger luggage. Staff were great as well as the cold breakfast. Overall, would recommend to a group of four wanting to vacation at Manchester.

The room we stayed was great clean, and spacious. Had enough room for four people. We had 2 quadrants as there were 6 of us and it was comfy.

The location is the right distance away from the centre far enough to not be disturbed by any noise but close enough to walk.
