The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The Winston Churchill suite was immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious food and drinking in the huntsman’s bar. This hotel offers beautiful views and an experience like no other hotel offers

Exceptional. An intimate and stunning place to visit. Settled in amazing quiet country side the service was first class and very welcoming. Our room, the Victoria was comfy, elegant and a real treat. We were very well looked after. Dinner in the Huntsmen was relaxed and of very high standard. One of the best pies I’ve ever had. The ethos of the wine menu was inspiring with an excellent selection. The grounds are interesting and well kept with the history of the owners and hydro system quite fascinating for an engineer. Inspired! Thanks for a brilliant night stay. A reset which was much needed before exploring the local area and heading up Snowdon.

We enjoyed our stay at Palé Hall but wouldn't go back.

The room was beautiful, we had a lovely view overlooking the garden and the bed was very comfortable. The building itself is incredible and the decor was fitting with the theme.

We dined at the Michelin Star restaurant and we're disappointed with the quality of food and service. We opted for the 4 course but they were all lacking in flavour and freshness, overly complicated and not executed well enough, maybe our expectations are too high coming from Melbourne. We constantly had to ask for our wine and water to be refilled and there was nothing explained about the food when brought to the table. Luckily there was one staff member there that made our stay memorable, he was amazing.

The breakfast was terrible, I'm sorry to say. I had scrambled eggs and salmon. The eggs tasted as if they came from a packet.

We were told they would valet our car however when we came down the next morning our car was left out the front, unlocked with the keys left in it.

We aren't fussy people but you expect a certain level of service from a 5 star hotel, and we received much better service from the amazing 4 star hotels in the area.

My absolute favourite hotel, the service is amazing they make you feel so at home. The location is beautiful. I also ate in the restaurant when I stayed and the food and drinks were lovely, can’t wait to return.

I was lucky enough to have a two night stay at Palé Hall, for my 60th birthday. We stayed in the Churchill Suite and it was as magnificent as it sounds. The icing on the cake was that the suite is dog friendly and so is the bistro, so we could have our greyhound Winston with us in the room as well as while we ate breakfast and dinner. The staff were absolutely lovely and made a great fuss of Winston, as did many of our fellow guests. They loved the fact that there was a Winston in the Churchill Suite!
