Phenomenon pub experience. The food was impeccable. Brilliant venison croquettes with zingy beetroot ketchup, the best burger I’ve had in very long time and a sublime sticky toffee dessert - all topped of with great cherry and warm service. Thank you!

My friend and I booked a post-walk Sunday roast. Neither of us are local so took a bit of a punt at choosing where to go, however we were not disappointed! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, we even made a furry friend in the pub dog Ollie! We both had the roast pork and I can honestly say, aside from my mums Christmas dinner, this was the best roast I have ever had! Absolutely delicious! We were very tempted to try a dessert as the offerings on the menu were very tempting, but we were both completely full! Would 100% recommend The Kilpeck Inn to anyone in the area!

Five Star Experience
I visited The Kilpeck Inn on Wednesday 27th November with my partner for an evening meal. It had been several years since I had last visited. On arrival it struck me why on earth had I been so negligent to not have visited in such a long while? It is a fantastic place to eat that Herefordshire is lucky to have nestled away, as it is, amongst some of the finest landscape the county has to offer. The Kilpeck has a natural, easy charm that is understated and tasteful. It is very good to see local beers and ciders well represented at the bar. This reinforces the feeling that you have arrived at an accomplished country inn. You feel that you are in 'safe hands' here. The menu is very carefully assembled brimming with local produce and consisting of thoughtful dishes such as roasted rump of local lamb, cooked to an ideal medium doneness served with a perfectly paired potato terrine and succulent red cabbage. The wine list is equally well assembled with an original separate Fizz list. The lady that served us was extremely courteous and fielded our questions with confident aplomb.I would say prices represent very good value for money. The excellence of the food served indicates that the quality of raw materials is supremely important to this kitchen. In short do yourself a favour and book a table for your next friends and family dinner. Neither you, nor they, will be disappointed. If you live in Herefordshire and have inexplicably not visited yet make sure you do on your next opportunity. Ps Ollie, the resident canine has perfect table-side manners too.

Restaurant only: ambitious menu totally fulfilled in every course and exceptional value for money. Plus the place was convivially busy on a November Tuesday evening. Only quibble: quail's eggs were a little chilly!

Had a lovely lunch for 6 of us.  Food was amazing but service needs a little help.   Only offered one drink at the beginning, food came out a bit slow but super tasty and well worth the wait.  Desserts were a bit annoying though.  Again, the desserts were very good but 2 came out and then had to wait at least 10 mins for 2 more to come out by which time the other people had enjoyed and finished and then after a few more minutes the last 2 came out.  We were there for 2 hours (bit long for a lunch) and had to go to the bar to ask about the bill.  When I was asked when I paid about how everything was, I told the lady that food was fantastic but service wasn't very good with the desserts.  She did appoligize but ruined it with the excuse "there is only one person allowed to serve the desserts and there's many more tables to serve".   Felt a bit put off by this response so won't go back again sadly.
As we were leaving I did notice at least 2 more tables that looked like they were looking for a staff member for something.
