The grounds and the castle itself are beautiful but it was a little bit too traditional and stuffy for us- and SO quiet (in a feel like you need to whisper everywhere way). The archery and instructor, Charles, was fantastic though! That’s a must-do

Tried the Seasgair Dining experience as a large party for a very special birthday. Location and food did not disappoint, with a superb tasting menu that catered to our admittedly-annoyingly-varied dietary needs in a truly special setting. A star lost due to the service, which was pretty poor considering the price of the experience (although it's worth noting that there is no mandatory service charge and of course we still tipped.) Despite calling twice to confirm the necessaries (and writing it down mid-meal for clarification) staff could not get their heads around who could eat what & more than one member of the party was forgotten & left without a plate until others had finished. More a suggestion for improvement than a reason not to go, we recognise that large groups can be hard to cater!
