We had an incredible experience here during our 10 year wedding anniversary. The service was truly wonderful, so many lovely folks took care of us daily. We also did two of the restaurant tastings and enjoyed every moment. If I could rate it higher than 5/5 I would. It would be a dream to be able to come back here.

The Lovat Hotel offers an exceptional stay with outstanding hospitality.
The staff and owner went above and beyond, even giving us a free room upgrade.
The beautifully decorated lobby is a great place to relax, and the views of the Loch from our room were stunning.
Breakfast, with amazing views, was delicious. While food and drinks are on the pricier side, the quality justifies it. Dinner timings could be more flexible, but staff offered great local recommendations.
The location is perfect for exploring on foot, and free parking is a bonus.
Highly recommend an early morning dip in the Loch.

We recently returned to The Lovat, 14 years since our first visit. It still maintained the same warmth and charm that we remembered.
The passion, dedication and authenticity of the owners is evident from the moment you walk through the door.
The perfect blend of luxury with home comfort, matched with the thoughtful attention to detail and seamless service from all of the team, made our stay the perfect retreat.
And then there’s the food... The care and precision put into the perfectly curated menu celebrates local ingredients in the most delicate, creative and delicious way.

We loved our stay at The Lovat! Such a quaint, yet modern hotel, with lovely staff who are happy to answer any and all questions! We were greeted with amazing welcome drinks, and explored the rooms downstairs, finding all the guides with tons of info about nearby walks, to ones hours away. Our room was very comfortable, and had a great mountain view. The bathroom was nice and we had no complaints. I'd definitely stay here again!

We stayed at the Lovat on the One Night Dining Offer and we were absolutely delighted with both our stay and our evening meal - it was really great value and a brilliant end to our two week holiday in Scotland.

(i) the front of house was great - extremely welcoming and very prompt in sorting us with drinks (which was very appreciated).  Both she and the hotel were super accommodating for our dog and the Garden room was perfectly set up.

(ii) our host for the evening meal (who I think was the owner) was great.   She ran the dinner service like clockwork and was both knowledgeable and passionate about the wine in equal measure.  We have never ordered bottles of wine from a wine pairing before even leaving the table - but we did last night!  It was also brilliant to see a commitment to showcasing English wine.  We have not seen this anywhere else and we thought it was a great touch.

A really lovely stay for us!
