The woodsman is another great British local from the Punch brand.

I came here today to complete some work on site.

Ellie and the staff are friendly, welcoming.

Photos show this pub has lots of outside tables with a big screen TV, perfect for watching the live sporting events.

The woodsman also offers Darts and Pool aswell as quiz nights.

Serving menu food with ample seating for large parties this would make an excellent hub for socialising and families.

We visited in passing at lunch when in the area. The pub was decorated nicely and had a relaxing atmosphere. The menu had standard pub food but the pizza menu was separate and we didn't find it until after we'd ordered. The food arrived and was piping hot and very tasty. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The toilets were very clean. Had a nice time

Was quiet when we came in but also dark 😂 the lights were being fixed 😂 food was OK steak could have been more rare to my taste but it was still a good steak bar staff are lovely but it's a limited menu

Ordered The Chicken Platter for £15.  Whilst edible this was a very poor meal.   The southern fried chicken strips were so small it was laughable.  The 2 chicken wings were  very difficult to find chicken on as so small!!  The 1 piece of Cheesey BBQ chicken was small and not cooked well.   As for the Southern style gravy it was also tasteless. And don't let us forget the 2 onion rings.....constructively speaking the meal needs a lot of work on portion size and cooking quality so as to be presentable and worth the cost. Would not recommend this place.
