I don't understand how this is a successful chain but I guess all the good ramen spots that have opened up in the last decade have not made enough of a dent in changing cultural perceptions. Or maybe the London outposts of Wagamama are subpar. 

Either way, skip it. There are so many better Asian restaurants in London I'm sure. Prices aren't even that cheap. 

The yakisoba was super bland and no yakisoba sauce or flavors were present. Basically if they put some pad thai sauce on it, I would've called it pad thai. 

The ramen is all chicken broth, which is fine, but it's not the rich tonkotsu broth you usually get. 

Seating is fairly easy as most of the dining room has these large communal tables. Food turnover was pretty quick.

We just needed a quick bite after a long day of sightseeing in London, this was NOT the move. I will be sure to compliment the staff, they were friendly, helpful and fast. The vibe was also a nice modern restaurant, though I did not particularly appreciate sitting on a bench with a number of other customers. 

The food specifically was the issue. We got the soba noodles, the edamame, and the katsu curry. Bland is the first word that comes to mind. Everything was just kind of flavorless. Not bad or gross per se, but could have eaten nothing at all and my taste buds would've reacted similarly. Save your money and your time, and just go to the McDonald's next door!

Good portions, fast service. Best meal that I had in London this week. Would definitely go back.

Oh my goodness, other than the salmon salad that was okay, I was quite shocked that the other two dishes, ramen and fried udon were poorly done especially the fried udon.  Maybe all the main chefs were off that evening?  I will keep this review simple as there isn't much to say about other than I would definitely not be coming back!

First time to a Wagamama. I've seen the lines and now I know why.  It's pretty tasty!  The menu has a lot of options for any kind of diet. I had chicken and shrimp soba and my husband had pad Thai.  We loved both of them. He also had one of the green juices.  Really tasty.   I would love to come back and try more.  Service is prompt and I liked being able to pay on my phone when ready.

I have eaten at Wagamama in NYC and love the food. So as we were walking around St. Paul's Cathedral in London, and saw this restaurant across from it, we decided to eat here for lunch.

The service is great, and we were seated promptly.

Here is what I ordered:
- Edamame with chilli: Its a bit on the spicy side, but loved it.
- Bang bang cauliflower: Delicious. Loved the seasoning and flavor of this dish.
- Vegatsu: I really liked this dish, especially the breadcrumb below the rice. I just wish it came with more curry, as I had a lot of rice left in the end with no curry.

Overall, a great place for vegetarians/vegans as there are plenty of delicious things you can eat here.

I'm from NY and if I'm not mistaken they have restaurants there as well. I've never tried it and thought why not here. I had a beef ramen (I can't remember the name, sorry lol) but it was superb! They also had a yuzu lychee tonic that was amazing too. I would definitely go again and try out their other types of ramen.

Having been a fan of this food chain since it's earliest days, it is sad and shocking to me how far they've fallen. This is no longer the ramen chain that took the world by storm in the early 2000s. They have morphed into a fast food chain. I went here for lunch after visiting nearby St. Paul's Cathedral. The service was subpar, to put it kindly. The servers didn't care and only half-listened to the customer. They were more interesting in ringing up the tab and getting you out of the restaurant as fast as possible. Even the request of a simple glass of water was too difficult for them to fulfill. 

And the food was inedible. The pork gyoza came out semi-cold and greasy, as if they had been sitting in the kitchen for awhile. The stir-fried udon dish had absolutely no taste and the chicken was stringy and rubbery.

Such a sad ending to a once fun and lively place. I won't be back.

Great presentation of the ramen but unfortunately it was just not what I am used to in ramen in San Diego. The broth was not as rich and I'm used to and the noodles were over cooked. All the other elements were great like fresh vegetables and charred pork. The restaurant was clean and hip with a decent service.

Visited here on my own the other evening. The staff were quick to acknowledge me and take me to my table. I was offered and drink and help with the menu where I decided on a dish recommended to me by one of the wait staff. The staff were all super friendly and attentive and seemed as though they all genuinely enjoyed their job which is a nice change. My meal was delicious and i wish i had more room for dessert. The whole menu is enticing i wish i could fit more in. At the end of my dining one of the staff came over to the table with a card that offers a free side. This was such a lovely gesture which I wish i could take advantage of however I was visiting from overseas.
Would definitely visit here again!! Amazing experience.
