A typical British pub with Indian food.  How odd, in a good way.  I dropped by and it was super busy.  I sat at the bar and had a beer and the Chicken Marsala and Nan bread.  Fantastic food, quick service, and good beer.  What else can you ask for in an old British pub!  :)

My family and I were desperately searching for a restaurant in Kensington that served good breakfast. We sat outside on a weekday and the waitress came shortly with menus to order from. I got the omelet in a pan, my two cousins went for the eggs benedict on a croissant and my aunt chose the waffles. It was a gloomy but pleasant day so we decided to sit outside. They do have seating inside as well.

The food was out in less than 15 mins and everything was delicious. I loved my omelet and the onion relish that came with it. The eggs benedict were good as well but the waffles could've been a little better. We also ordered hash browns on the side that never came but maybe it was a blessing in disguise and we all barely finished our food since it was so much.

Nice little restaurant and pub in the Kensington area. Prices are reasonable and a great atmosphere. Our waiter was great and put up with our not thinking clearly with jet lag.
The kids had the burgers which were quite good. I had the duck salad and my wife had the sea bass salad, both of which were light and tasty. We all enjoyed the beverage selection.

Stopped here after some work at the University on a very cold day. Highly recommend. You can tell this place has a lot of history behind it. Food was great.

What an amazing spot in London! We Americans would have franchised this a long time ago...sadly. 
This was a wonderful combination of a local, neighborhood pub and a true Gastro pub. Great atmosphere, upscale enough but not too much. Really good food and a satisfying wine list. Worthy, very worthy!

Did I mention how damn good the calamari was? Well, I am mentioning it now. The best calamari I have ever had. We started our dinner with an appetizer board; satay chicken, chicken wings, Spring rolls and fried calamari. If you've looked back over my posts, you'll see that I've had calamari. This, hands down, was the pen ultimate! Fan-freaking-tastic!

I had the pad Thai entrée, good and standard. Nothing truly special here. Mama K had to 'go native' and have the fish and chips. She said they were excellent. Baby girl M went with a burger. She didn't say much but the burger went!

So it was nice, real nice little rough around the edges and spots but the food was worth it. A good stop when you're in the Kensington high street area.

Waked there based on reviews. Kitchen is closed today. Nothing on website about that.  Frustrating waste of time.

This quaint little pub is a hidden gem. We tried the fish and chips, tofu Katsura, chicken satay, spring rolls and the duck with noodles. Everything was delicious. The curry sauce is exceptional.

Decent neighborhood pub.   Service was a little weird, but the food was good.   Had the steak pie, bangers n mash and the spicy turnip soup.    All dishes were quite nice.   Repeatable experience.

Large pub close to the Olympia exhibition centre that is popular with a number of our friends, and the joint winner of the 2007 "Pub of the Year" award from the West London branch of CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale).


 The interior has been opened up, giving a spacious (slightly cavernous, in fact) feel, but this is compensated for by being decorated in a series of warm orange tones, giving it a rather South American ambience. This theme is continued in the menu, which features mostly Mexican dishes and, indeed, there were plenty of hispanic (and German) customers enjoying themselves on our last visit. Food prices are very reasonable - you can eat for under a tenner. Vegetarian items available.


 The pub serves a rotating selection of interesting real-ales, with three on at any one time: Phoenix's Flash Flood, Butcome Bitter and Mole's Best Bitter last night, for example. They'll get through about eight different beers in any one week, so there's always something of interest, and the turn-over means the quality is reliable.


 Staff are friendly and serve a good pint - no need to ask for a top-up - which is hiw it should be. The only downside is that it situated on the busy Holland Road - though this is only a problem if you want to sit outside.


 A good venue in an area which is otherwise short of decent pubs.

Great place for a beer and grub some good pub food. Staff is way pleasant and helpful.
