It's in a nice area with all the shops and the ambiance is very laid back and peaceful but in general it's about the food. I was not feeling the food. It's probably a culture thing but it was barely any seasoning. I ordered a pistachio pesto pasta, too much pistachio for me. We came here for a quick quick bite during lunch time. It was barely anyone in the restaurant but it was raining outside. I wouldn't come back but I enjoyed the drink!

Exactly what I wanted. Needed. 40 minute lunch between classes. Great carbonara. Just look at it!

Went for a dinner with a friend and had a good time. 

I had vongole for main, which was generally fresh and tasty. I felt it could have had a bit more flavour though. 

Service was very good. Our mains were delayed, so they took the initiative to bring out olives for free which we appreciated. 

Ambience was very cosy and tasteful. Great place for dates or small gatherings, if you like a neighbourhood kind of feel without compromising style.

Local place that has a nice array of Italian choices. We had a nice selection of charcuterie for an appetizer - it was very tasty and fed 4 adults. We also had the aracini which was a big hit. 

For dinner, 2 of us had the pasta carbonara and it was simply fantastic. Another party has the steak and it was tremendous as well. The last person in our party had the salmon and she reported that it was disappointing. 

Service was great!  If they had touched up their seafood a bit, it would have gotten. 5 stars!

Light and airy neighborhood Italian restaurant, lovely fresh food, nothing too challenging, friendly service. A glass of red wine and a plate of carbonara, and then maybe a stroll around the British Museum? This is your place!

I love Olivelli! As a SOAS student, this is the best place to go for lunch. It's right around the corner, and they do a terrific 10 pound lunch special where you get a starter and a main course. The insalata serifino is my favorite: mixed leaf salad topped with goat's cheese, roasted red peppers; drizzled with balsamic vinegar dressed and served with toasted goat's cheese bruchetta. yum.

I love this place..... The food was delicious. 

I can recommend any Pizza, Pasta and leave room for desert. The service is great and the food cooked to profection. 

I love my Italian food and I would say this is up there with the best.

lovely Italian restaurant and friendly waiters. For starter the octopus is good but prawns not so fresh. Pasta and steak taste very good. Ask for chilli oil of you like spicy! Overall recommended and can be better.

Authentic Italian food at it's best. I had the scallopin and my wife had the pasta with the sardines, that was recommended by the waiter from Sicily. He said it was very authentic, but from a different region. It was was delish!! Intimate setting, nice wine selection and decent pricing. Wait staff was knowledgable, friendly and helpful. Mangia. If you're looking for an easy, nice Italian lunch, I would recommend this place. For 11.95 there's a set menu where you can choose an appetizer and a main course. I recommend the potato soup as it was very rich and went really well with the bread! The restaurant also has nice service and relatively fast serving time. Definitely recommend :)
