My cousin loves Italian food, so when we passed this place while looking for somewhere to have dinner, we had to stop in. The bartender waved us in and sat us down at a cozy table by the window right away.

I ordered a passion star martini (that's the pg name) because it was one of the cocktails I wanted to try while in London. The proper way to drink it is to sip the prosecco first, then the martini, but I say  drink it however you like! 

As for food, there is an option to order half a pizza and salad. After eating endless chips and biscuits day after day, I needed a vegetable. I decided on the formaggio pizza and loved it! The goats' cheese and honey went so well together. The salad was fresh and had some nice herbs to give flavor.

At the end of our meal, we paid through the qr code on the table, thanked the staff, and were on our way!

Service wasn't too bad considering there were only two servers and they were working hard! 

Spaghetti marinara and chicken Milanese were okay.  Chicken was crispy! The garlic butter tasted like popcorn.The carbonara was just okay as well.  Dessert was the best part! Brownie and toffee cake were good! The latte was mostly milk. For a quick meal before our show, it served its purpose.

Pretty good over all! The kids meals are a good deal for sure. You can get a lighter meal or a larger kids meal that includes a small appetizer, main course, drink and dessert. My kids got the pizza and it didn't disappoint.

I ordered the lighter side meal that included a 122 12 inch pizza and a salad. I wasn't super hungry so it was the perfect amount of food. 

The service was ok. They seemed understaffed like everyone is, but the server was trying really hard.

I had the bolognese but it was not very good nor was fried calamari.  Fast service but not for food.

So in my last review of Bella Italia 'another location' were I mentioned it was very small, the food wasn't cooked great and the experience was not good.

Well, for me, this one has turned it back around again and my love for 'Bella' has returned once again. This location, one 'The Strand' just across from The Adelphi Theatre and for me, about a 20min walk from my apartment. It's a lot bigger and it seemed to be much more organised.

We had a table booked for about 6:30pm, it was busy with people having pre-theatre meals, we were waiting, but not for long. We were taken downstairs and shown to our table, greeted nicely our waiter. He was very friendly, took our drinks order and made us feel welcome.

I ordered a pizza, this time 'with a tomato base' lol, and it was perfect. Cooked really well and I really enjoyed it. This was a simple, but wonderful meal. It was a great night out. Now going back to the location of this one, it's just a few mins away from Covent Garden and there is plenty to see and do along The Strand as well. I really enjoyed this and I look forward to coming back again really soon.

Having booked a table a few weeks ago we wondered if it would be remembered. Our worries were unnecessary as we walked in they showed us to a table beautifully laid out. We love Italian food and this place did not disappoint. Great, quick, and friendly Italian service. Drinks took a little while to come through but this was down to insufficient staff. That is the one and only negative. The food was delicious. Wonderful spaghetti with a picante arrabiata sauce over the prawns. With, I was pleased to see, extra chilli slices. I am a glutton for chilli.
All in all, a wonderful lunch. I will have to knock off one star for the lack of staff and the wait. Otherwise it would get 5* support.

We came here before attending the theatre nearby.  We selected it simply because we didn't have a lot of time and it was convenient.  I had eaten at this chain a few years ago and remember it being OK.

Nothing really went wrong with the meal, but overall it was just so mediocre.  Our draft beer (reasonably priced) came out so late, we thought she had forgotten it.  We shared a pasta and pizza, and the pizza that advertised bay leaves came out with one on it (see picture).  The pasta wasn't bad but when we asked for cheese, the request was met with a sigh.

Obviously with this review you can tell that service wasn't the high point of our evening.

I dunno - I don't know what we expected, but it was certainly a little more than we got.  Next time I want pizza from a chain, I might as well go to Pizza Hut a few doors down..

Italian Applebee's is my best comparison for this place. Our first night in London it was raining so we didn't want to travel far from our hotel nor wonder the streets looking at menus. We hopped into this place but wish we hadn't. Their food was very bland and unauthentic.  Our meal ended up being £30 for meh food. The next day as we were wondering we realized what a huge chain restaurant this is and they are all over the city. 

Kind of feel like I wasted a night in London to experience some new amazing food.

Walking past you might miss it, but inside it's a lively atmosphere and well lit rooms. The food is fantastic, pasta al dente to perfection. The bar makes a well poured mojito, and the service is prompt. Drinks, appetizers and entrees for two were less than £60, well priced!

Pretty decent dinner tonight in the heart of London. Got seated right away and our food came out quickly! Classic margarita pizza was wildly doughy, juuuust the way I like it. Washed it down with a delicious passion fruit mojito that satisfied my thirst.
