EAT at 1 Stratford Place is located at the end of the huge Westfield Stratford City, and is opposite the old entrance to Stratford Underground Station, where you can connect on the Tube, DLR or via rail throughout London.

With it being ultra busy in virtually every mall restauraunt, I hoped to pick up some soup here and I did, there wasn't a lot of tables here for the size of the shop.

The tomato soup had to be ordered at the counter which was confusing, as they had the pots laid out in a hot fridge with the soup name underneath, other chains such as Pret would have the soup ready, but it was served nearly straight away from a pan which wasn't too bad.

The soup was really hot, and it was a shame I couldn't get any gluten-free bread or side to go with it, again this is common for a place like this sadly with EAT and other rivals.

I found there to be too much going on in the soup, it looked an orangey colour, at first I thought they'd gave me a carrot soup instead of tomato, the soup didn't taste too great, I merely ate it because I was hungry, at around £3.60 this is an average price, albeit the larger soup does cost more, which works out more than rivals such as Pret A Manger.

Overall, this EAT store is okay, albeit multiple issues including with the soup and prices not matching up to rivals and expectations I feel it is the lower end of average, albeit not terrible.

The nearest coffee sellers to my new place of work. Therefore, the only reason I tried EAT coffee...

And I'm so glad I did! their coffee is awesome and the staff are lovely. And if you work at Westfield you get a 10% discount! 

Can't comment on the food though. But it does look good!!

Located on the lower level of the Westfield shopping mall. Quick, efficient, healthy, and reasonably-priced fast foods in the mall. I had the sourdough bread with avocado - simple and delicious. Filled our needs!
