Visited here in April and was absolutely blown away with the meal and experience.

We had the tasting menu with drinks paring and it was incredible from start to finish, every single dish was a treat and was just left wanting more after the courses were finished.

This was the first time eating at a chef’s table, but he was always engaging and was happy to answer any questions we had on the food that was being prepared in front of us which is a nice touch.

The service was also great, with every dish and drink being introduced and didn’t feel like it was being read from a script as can often be the case and were always happy to engage and chat with us. The place is definitely a bit more laid back than other restaurants similar to this, but in a good way. It still has the atmosphere but never once felt pretentious.

Good value for money too I believe, and can’t wait to come back one day. One of the best meals I’ve ever had.

Absolutely fabulous experience from the first minute to the last. Haley and Frank are so engaging, they make you feel so welcome and look after you throughout the meal. Chefs are exceptional and create stunning dishes. Loved every second, the food was incredible, from the snacks before you go down to the chefs tables for the 8 course to the petite fours at the end. Nothing in Liverpool compares. Not cheap but worth every penny. If you're looking for something special look no further, we'll definitely be back.

Came across this place whilst looking for someplace special to dine whilst in Liverpool for a few days. Consider it found.

On entering you know that this is something different as you head down into the cellars after a warm welcome.

Often informality can imply a lack of attention to detail. Not here. Everything is professional and the front of house staff, and in this I include the chefs are, well, nice is perhaps an understatement.

As part of two groups of 8 at separate countertops, after appetisers, you can see every aspect of your culinary journey being progressed. Entertaining and fascinating.

So, to keep this short, the food? Absolutely delightful.

The moral of the story, go there. It’s a great experience at a very reasonable price.

And you leave with a full stomach.
