My husband is wheelchair bound, and it was our first holiday since he suffered a stroke.  The staff were absolutely amazing and accommodated us brilliantly.  The food was excellent. Couldn't fault anything. I would strongly advise you to book in advance,  as we wanted to visit again during our stay, but the restaurant was fully booked up over the weekend.

We have been there quite a few times, front of house staff always make you feel welcomed and always well mannered and attentive. The kitchen is superb, The Verite family and staff seem to work well together, we never had a bad meal yet. This last time was for lunch and once again the food was on the mark. Warning you need to book in advance it's a popular place!

Fantastic restaurant. Went here last night due to seeing the great reviews. The restaurant is not big inside, it has a bar joined on to it where you can have a pre meal drink. Had garlic bread with cheese, snails and olives for entrees. The garlic bread was fantastic, very strong garlic but not overpowering. The snails were decent, could have had more garlic and the olives were very tangy and delicious. The chicken vol au vent was outstanding. Great camambert middle filling inside it. The rump lamb was good, I thought the waiter said lamb shank so was my fault I ordered it instead of the breem with scallops. The apple pie with custard was a sensation, no overpowering cinnamon, just the right amount. The Creme brulee too was light and flavoursome. Would recommend this place. We will be back. Top banana

Amazing place. This was my first visit and I'd heard so many good reviews of it. It didn't disappoint! Absolutely delicious food, wide-ranging menu, excellent service. Recent introduction of an adjoining bar next door allows you to enjoy drinks in the surroundings before and after, and we did! 😀
