An amazing evening at The Muddlers Club, our first Michelin Star dining experience. We've visited several Bib Gourmands and other restaurants working to attain their first star but this was the first 1-star we've dined at.

The starter dishes were all first rate, particularly the lamb carpaccio and scallop dishes.

On mains, the monkfish stood out and was probably our favorite course. The beef main, whilst good, felt quite simple and didn't live up to expectations.

To finish, the two desserts were perfect and but the spot. As someone who isn't a great fan of rhubarb, the rhubarb, gingerbread and custard dessert really won me over and was followed by a rich chocolate, lime and hazelnut dish.

Overall, the food was worth every penny and the staff were knowledgeable and attentive, making sure our drinks were always topped up and checking if we needed anything.

The only downside of our evening was one table that arrived and were sat behind us as we were moving onto our desserts. They absolutely stunk of stale sweat, and based on their clothes had just arrived from a long walk or hike in their runners. If we weren't leaving so soon, we'd have had to request to be seated elsewhere. I don't think it's fair to customers paying for an evening dining experience to then be overwhelmed by the strong smell of stale body odour.

We lunched here last week and the tasting menu was excellent. Our server, Thomas, was great, attentive, helpful and friendly. I have an allergy to certain white fish so was unable to eat the cod on the menu. Thomas and the kitchen came up with an excellent alternative!
As some others have mentioned, the restaurant is rather noisy, but that didn't spoil our enjoyment.

Fine dining at its best. The best dining experience we had in our two week trip from US.  Will definitely dine again during our next visit to Ireland.

Just had the most incredible dining experience at The Muddlers Club in Belfast. From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for something special, but this surpassed every expectation.

The tasting menu was a culinary journey like no other – each dish a masterpiece of flavours, textures, and creativity. The attention to detail was impeccable, showcasing not just skill but a genuine passion for food. Every bite told a story, and each course felt like a perfect crescendo to the next.

The wine flight was the perfect companion to the meal, carefully curated to enhance and elevate the flavours. The pairings were thoughtful and surprising, adding an extra layer of depth to the entire experience.

The atmosphere was intimate yet buzzing, with a perfect balance of sophistication and warmth. The staff? Absolutely phenomenal. Their knowledge, enthusiasm, and care made us feel like honoured guests, guiding us through the lunch with effortless charm.

We made a reservation for the first day we arrived in Belfast and went to this place, We encountered an excellent quality of service from the moment we entered the restaurant to the moment we left.
We tried the tasting menu and encountered multiple factors to influence each course. We really had a very different tasting experience in terms of food. We felt the taste of the dessert we ate change in our mouth even as we ate it, and the way these two tastes went together was wonderful. We had equally great experiences with cocktails and were definitely not disappointed in almost anything we tried.
It was a very nice experience in terms of service, each course that arrived was explained in detail and great attention was paid to each one, including special cutlery. Everyone showed incredible interest, especially Isabelle, who helped us have a really good time and increased the quality of our experience with the attention she showed us. Despite certain sensitivities and allergies we showed regarding the food, they adapted the menu accordingly and presented it to us.
There was a really elite and retro atmosphere about the atmosphere, this interior design created a very sweet contrast with the light music coming from the background.
It was a quality place that met the expectations expected from a Michelin star place. Even though the prices are high due to its quality, we definitely recommend it as a place to try when you come to Belfast.
