I had a wonderful time at the Kirkstyle Inn yesterday evening. I booked a table for the 9-course tasting menu, and it was absolutely incredible! The service was top-notch, even with a few big groups in the bar. The wine and non-alcoholic pairings were amazing, they really complemented each course perfectly. The ambiance and decor were stunning, it made for a really memorable dining experience.

I’m not usually a big fan of fancy restaurants, but I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious every dish on the tasting menu was. The Pheasant Broth was my favorite, but everything was just so good.

We’ll definitely be back to the Kirkstyle Inn, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly special dining experience.

We had a lovely stay here in October 2024.  We had the tasting menu which was excellent (and very reasonable in terms of price).  The bar area is welcoming and the wine list is great with plenty of good value wines on offer.  We also had a great breakfast after our overnight stay.  The hotel space is lovely and the room was fantastic - great views and spotlessly clean. Also has tea & coffee making facilities.  We can't wait to go back again.

Visited the Kirkstyle Inn on a friend's recommendation.  We decided to stay over so we could both enjoy the wine flight with the tasting menu.  What a fantastic experience it was.  The staff are friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is relaxed.  The food was divine - the venison tartare stands out as the dish of the menu though the others were beautiful too - better than some Michelin starred restaurants we've visited.  The bedroom was beautifully appointed and very comfortable and breakfast set us up for the day.  As we live locally, we will definitely be visiting again.

Fantastic romantic break. The rooms are lovely with comfy beds and good showers. We had the tasting menu for supper which was delightful. 8 small courses and wine pairing that were delicious but not overwhelming.

A wonderful place to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary.
The room was sumptuous and spotless with a fabulous view. A lovely, comfortable bed and a super shower room. We appreciated the real coffee machine and the home made shortbread.
All the staff are lovely and the service is outstanding.
The chef is incredibly talented and the food is amazing
