We had a wonder meal at The Swan Inn.

The food was really nice and tasty!

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The pub is dog friendly too which is a bonus.

We stayed at The Swan Inn for two nights on a walking trip and absolutely loved it! The inn is simply lovely and the area surrounding it is beautiful too. We were welcomed when we arrived, even though we were a boy early and when our rooms were ready the amazing, kind and helpful staff members were quick to assist us and show us our rooms. The rooms were phenomenal! So beautiful and well appointed with everything we could ask for and more! My wife and I stayed in a room that overlooked part of the garden and out into the rolling farmland, just WOW! We had several meals and beverages while we stayed and both were excellent! The breakfast and dinners were delicious and generous and again the staff was kind, friendly, helpful and just wonderful! I highly recommend you visit and stay at The Swan Inn.

Absolutely beautiful pub in a wonderful location.  The staff we met were all very helpful and a credit to the hospitality industry. Special mention to Steve, Katie, Charlie and Barbara. Food is excellent as are the beers. Gardens lovely as well. Maybe spruce up the bathrooms, but perfect in every other way.

I chose to have my birthday meal here as whenever we visit the food and service is great.   I wasn’t disappointed- the staff were so friendly and welcoming without being intrusive and the food was delicious as it always is.  I would definitely recommend this lovely pub ( there’s a lovely garden for the summer )

I doubt my review will make a difference because this is clearly a beautiful pub in a beautiful part of the world. However sadly my family’s experience was not a good one. We came one evening for some beers, lemonades and chips and were made to feel really unwelcome and unwanted guests. Maybe if we had been ordering champagne and a three course meal, the welcome might have been different? It’s a shame because the setting was lovely and we really fancied a second round, but couldn’t on principle!
