Recommended to us by a local, this bar is an absolute gem! Fabulous cocktail list and wonderful staff - we loved sitting at the bar watching them prepare our drinks and having a chat. The venal record collection is impressive as well - great tunes!

We went there for drinks. Cute little place our bartender Australian was nice and we were chatting and sitting by the bar counter. He made good drinks for us. Good experience to add on to our Edinburgh explore.

So glad to discover this gem of a cocktail bar. The decor is more "French bistro" than it is cocktail bar, and it's easy to feel relaxed here.

The small but excellent cocktail menu (you can order any cocktail you like off-menu!) is perfectly judged. Riffs on old classics, and fantastic unique concoctions - and a couple of good sounding alcohol-free options.

The staff are super-helpful and knowledgeable, and they have some bottled liqueurs and batched cocktails for take-out. One of my new favourites in Edinburgh's already excellent cocktail scene.
