Beautiful hotel inside and out, staff are super friendly and warm. The rooms are unique and special. The gardens are scenic and filled with animals, including Collin the peacock, Raven the cat, and 3 gorgeous Higland cows. Food was also great. Would love to stay again.

Absolute perfection, a secluded heaven in the middle of Edinburgh! We had our small wedding at Prestonfiled with just our close family, we also stayed overnight and on another occasion, we tried their afternoon tea. Everything was exceptional, from the wedding experience, the most delicious wedding meal (we got so many compliments on the food), incredible staff, a dreamy overnight stay and delicious breakfast. Our special day was absolutely perfect, the hotel is beautiful and I would recommend it without any hesitation! Thanks to the team for making it so special. Rhubarb is one of my favourite restaurants here in Edinburgh. We had our mains at Rhubarb, then enjoyed desserts and drinks in the Drawing Room, which is truly stunning. The food was excellent, and the service was great! A big thanks to Girlie!

Had my wedding there and I cannot wait to be back for tea or for a meal. The place is simply stunning. It is like roaming in a museum, with details of art and history unraveling at every corner. The staff is perhaps the most attentive I have ever encountered and helped with their expertise in everything: from planning the event to running it on the day. The people that helped us on the day (Sofia and Susie) made it even more special for our guests, and regrettably I do not remember right now the names of the other amazing people that helped us with our planning. The food was delightful with every course planned to perfection. We will hopefully be back for many repeat visits to remember of our magical time there.

Attended Prestonfield for my works Christmas party and would like to say that i thought the food was outstanding! Quite often when serving so many people it doesn’t always go to plan! The food was beautiful, hot and would certainly recommend it! The cauliflower soup was AMAZING! 😍
