 The full tasting menu costs £90 per person for the restaurant and £110 per person for The Kitchen Counter.

 We can cater for most dietary requirements. Due to the size of our kitchen, however, we cannot cater for wheat/gluten-free/coeliac diets.

 Unfortunately, we do not have on-site parking. However, there is some street parking available for free after 18:00, or alternatively, there are some local parking areas nearby.

 We do not allow dogs (aside from medical assistant dogs) to dine with us.

 We are open from 18:30 for aperitifs and ask all guests to arrive by 18:50 to begin dinner service promptly at 19:00.

 Our system does not accept American Express; please use an alternative payment method.

 We want guests to feel comfortable; no specific dress code is enforced.

 No service charge for tables of 4 or less; 15% added for groups of 5 or more.

Absolutely amazing experience! Never had a tasting menu where we've enjoyed every single course until coming here. James seems to really care about the customer experience and is obviously very passionate about  the food that he cooks - understandably so! Jo was also amazing and really helped to make our evening worth remembering with some great wine recommendations. Can't wait to come back and would recommend to anyone!

This was from last November. The food that James produced was outstanding! Along with Jo the sommelier and the wine pairings it made this visit incredible. What makes it more interesting is that you haven't got a clue what's going to be on the menu!

This is our third visit and as always we come away having enjoyed the most incredible evening. I'm always blown away at how the team have mastered the most delicious taster menus, be incredibly attentive and personable, and yet still create an atmosphere that is fun, relaxed and welcoming. I can honestly say I've not found anywhere else like it, and quite frankly I've no desire to look elsewhere!! This place is perfect!

If you enjoy food with real flavour and wish to explore beautifully paired wines then you must try this place out. But I do warn you, you won't find pleasure in eating anywhere else once you've been as the food here is so mind-blowingly good! And there's plenty of it!

We also learned today that 90% of the ingredients are local, and they are focussed on sustainability. Great food and great ethics, well done Wild Shropshire.

The food was imaginative and of a very high standard. The problem is in the portion size, it really is a mouthful a course and you do leave hungrier than when you arrived. I don't expect a plateful but I have had a number of high end taster courses and this is taking it too far, the balance isn't right. The approach is much more casual, you don't get chapter and verse about what you are about to eat, which is good. There are many wines by the glass to experience but I struggled to find one I liked.  Don't expect to see anything you have heard of, which I thought would be a good thing but not on this occasion. Too much style over function.

Just amazing. Perfect level of attentiveness from staff, atmosphere pitched just right between quiet and noisy (enjoyed listening to post-OK Computer era Radiohead all night!) and the food was incomparable. Every dish was a new and surprising adventure for the tastebuds. Never would have picked Whitchurch as a culinary hotspot but Wild Shropshire is single-handedly making it so.
