My wife and I had a two night stay recently - Really great experience. Super team of people providing first class convivial service. We had the tasting menu which was excellent. Breakfast top drawer. Overall 5* and we will be back!

Just back from a great weekend away at HOLM in South Petherton. This is your quintessential trendy restaurant with stylish rooms in rural idyll type place.

The food in the restaurant is good. It’s taster menu only - an experience - and as you would expect of this kind of foodie place, the dishes are rich and experimental. We didn’t love all of them but the potato soup with ragout and the duck main were very very good.

The rooms are stylish and minimalist and perfectly comfortable. The staff are attentive and friendly. The surrounding village and wider area really is a beautiful part of the world.

If you are looking for a romantic getaway with a partner or group of friends I’d thoroughly recommend HOLM.

We visited after reading good reviews, and came away really impressed. The town is small but a bit of a hidden gem, and this place is a fantastic addition. We did a Sunday lunch and the food was excellent, really nice touches in all the dishes - elevated but not overly fancy. Service was very friendly, and the dining area was roomier than expected (not trying to squeeze people in which I hate) and had a buzzy atmosphere. We will definitely visit again next time we are in the area.

Absolutely wonderful escape in Somerset. Wonderfully stylish, comfortable, elegant with a great energy, superb modern fine dining and a very personal touch. The accommodation is luxurious but informal. A perfect setting in a lovely place. We will be back.

We had lunch at Holm on Saturday, 21st December. Not only was the service impeccable, but nothing was too much trouble, including my daughter's dietary needs. The food was incredible, I would especially recommend the cod with the bone broth. It was delicious, again if you wanted to mix & match veg or desserts they were accommodating and did everything they could tp make your experience special. All those and excellent value for money, too.
Parking was a little tricky & we had to walk from the far end of the main street, but it was well worth it. This may be something people with reduced mobility should consider.
