Fantastic eating experience.
They pay a lot of attention to detail on each course, using a really good variety flavours.
The use of local produce is a nice touch.
We did the wine matching which really complimented each dish.
Service was very attentive and knowledgeable.
The eating area is well spaced downstairs, with excellent choice of music 👌🏼

What an experience… If I could give the place more stars than 5 I definitely would. Everything was super tasty and beautiful (so beautiful I didn’t actually want to eat any of the food. Rupert was super friendly and all the other staff had a smile and were very welcoming. I honestly loved every second of it.

Excellent food - best meal we had in Wales. Just book it.
Enjoyed the focus on local ingredients and originality of the dishes. Very much a high end experience. Only very minor criticism of the food was the lamb main, which was middle eastern inspired, and other than using Welsh lamb, just didn’t fit thematically with the rest of the meal.
Beyond the food itself, the rest of the experience doesn’t quite match up - inconsistent timing, strange wine list, and odd decor.
Nonetheless strongly recommend.

Was spending time out in North Wales and booked last minute.   Paul, the head chef was really kind and accommodating.    Rupert was excellent as head waiter with a great team.    The food was exceptional.     I was in jeans and trainers but made to feel very welcome.   Ate alone and had the 10 course taster and the four hours flew by and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience.   Will go back.

Great experience, wonderful staff, amazing food!
It was the two of us that had the seven course tasting menu. One of them was the pescatarian menu, it was all very very delicious, beautifully presented, the wine pairings were amazing.
1000000% recommend it.
