Where is Slice’s Michelin star?

My fiancé took us here for our engagement dinner in August. We’ve been to plenty one, two and three Michelin starred places, Slice is definitely competes with some of the best. Dishes were cooked perfectly, delicate tastes and well thought out dishes. The paired wine were great too. Lindsey was warm and friendly which added to the overall amazing experience. Whenever I’m in Swansea, I’ll definitely come again, da iawn!

Slice is simply fantastic! I thoroughly enjoyed my visit the other night. The restaurant is situated upstairs in a quirky building, accessible up a set of stairs. The staff are friendly and very easy to chat to, and service is professional.

The food is of another world - every single course of the tasting menu was both delicate and unique. Would highly recommend the wine we chose as well (see picture), though paired wines are also an option!

For anyone on the fence about visiting, please go and support this fantastic establishment. They are worth many visits!!

Such an amazing experience. The food was absolutely stunning, with every tiny element thought through. They were so accommodating with our dietary requirements, not just taking things off the plate but adding individual elements to make sure nobody missed out - including making a whole different dessert! Make sure you bring cash for a tip as they can't accept a tip on card - and trust me, you'll want to tip!

This may just be the best dining experience I have had in a long time, offering both great food to the service.

This small restaurant is just a hidden gem, tucked away in the back street of Sketty.

As soon as we entered the building, we were greeted by the chefs. Which was such a pleasure, which made us feel very welcome and set the evening up nicely.

Service was impeccable, with 1 really friendly hostess who knew everything about the dishes and really looked after us throughout the night, and as the restaurant only has 5 to 6 tables, the need for another waitress is redundant and would take away from the experience the 1 hostess brings.

It took us about 2.5 hours for the 6 course taster menu and honestly it was nice not to feel rushed for once in a restaurant, as I feel lately most restaurants just want you out as soon as you sit down ... I have seen some reviews saying 2.5 hours is a long time, however I think it is the perfect amount of time for an evening meal, no matter how many courses ... and when the food being served is so technical and not packeted portions like other popular and favoured restaurants around, waiting a little longer is really not something you should be moaning about.

On a more merry note, the food was well presented and simply tasted out of this world with so many different textures and flavours. You could see how much passion and effort has been put into each dish and can easily see why this restaurant has achieved a Michelin Star!

Lastly, we have to mention the price and ask the question: Is it worth it? ... Oh yes, most definitely, and I know for a fact I will be returning. Thank you Slice for such a lovely evening!

Amazing dining experience in South Wales!

Been meaning to come here for years but after seeing this specific menu knew it was the time to go! Scallops, venison, pork, monkfish and chocolate what more could you want! Also did the wine pairing and lots of knowledge included
