Excellent place to stay, myself and my partner had a lovely stay here. Bed very comfortable and the room felt very homely, the staff were nice and welcoming. The only negative (and this might be personal preference) was the sliding door for the bathroom, there was no privacy due to this door design, if I can leave any feedback for the hotel it would be to change these doors for lockable ones but other than that everything was exceptional and we were made to feel very welcome! 10/10

Had a superb meal for my birthday last night. My wife let them know I was celebrating and they brought my dessert out with a candle and sang to me. The food was delicious and came out piping hot.
I then stayed the night....the room was fantastic, very cosy and it was nice and quiet (apart from other guests letting their doors slam closed....why do that in a hotel??) I have no complaints at all.
The staff were all polite and friendly and made me feel very welcome. Breakfast was cooked to order with plenty of options as well as fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurts and fruit juice.
I would highly recommend this hidden gem.

I’ve become a regular (stay at least 1 night most weeks) for work. The food is fantastic and very friendly staff. Some of the rooms are very basic but cost effective for work stay
