So, the main tip is buy your tickets WAAAAAYYYYYY in advance. Also, for this one, get a guided tour and don't ever skimp on the skip the line option..you definitely need it.

Overall, it was both a visual and spiritual experience, plus you get to see the naughty side of the Catholic church (which as a Catholic in name, I wholly appreciate)

you still need to queue for more than 30 minutes even if you have a ticket! So of course you should book in advance and I recommend going in the morning when it opens. I booked at 3pm and still had to wait quite a while. It’s a big museum and be prepared to spend at least 2 hours in there. I went through the whole museum without a map. Also, in November the sunset is quite early so you can catch the golden hour. Anyway, the huge number of tourists makes it difficult to visit.. But I still feel this is a place not to be missed. It’s worth your time!

Incredible. So much to see it’s worth going probably 3-4 times honestly. You can’t possible take it all in in one visit. Endless beauty. The map room especially is unbelievable, and of course the Sistine chapel at the end.

What can you say… you simple have to see it for yourself! Breathtaking exhibits that are well planned along a walking journey through time. You could spend the entire day and still not fully soak it in.

I do recommend buying a ticket in advance to avoid a long wait and brining a water bottle and comfortable shoes!

Loved the experience just make sure you buy tickets in advance, do not buy it outside the museum on the day you go also, don't forget to leave enough time to go here because you will need an entire day to fully enjoy it. Here's a little tip, once you leave the museum get away from the exit if you need to catch a cab because the taxi drivers talk to each other and try to charge you as much as possible
